Mingxuan Chen – Prototype Engineer
Mingxuan Chen is a key member of WAFUU’s product development team, responsible for transforming customer concepts into functional prototypes.
With extensive hands-on experience in protective case development, he manages the full prototyping process — from initial concept to final sample — ensuring each design is practical, manufacturable, and aligned with real-world application requirements.
From Concept to Prototype
In every OEM project, Mingxuan is involved at the earliest stage of development:
• Analyzing device structure, dimensions, and interface layout
• Developing case structure based on usage scenarios
• Building functional prototypes through hands-on fabrication
• Refining structural details for durability and usability
Before mass production, all samples are developed and validated under his supervision to ensure consistency with production requirements.
Engineering Approach
Mingxuan’s working style is defined by:
• Strong attention to detail
• Practical, hands-on problem solving
• High execution efficiency
• Consistent quality control mindset
His background contributes to a disciplined and reliable engineering approach, particularly in early-stage product realization.
Experience & Background
Since joining WAFUU in 2014, Mingxuan has built extensive experience in prototype development and product execution.
He has:
• Led multiple R&D teams (up to 6 teams)
• Supported a large number of prototype developments across different projects
• Contributed to the successful execution of numerous OEM programs
Why His Role Matters
In OEM manufacturing, prototype quality directly impacts production stability and final product performance.
